1/4磚QH系列DC-DC隔離變換器是針對(duì)通信領(lǐng)域開發(fā)的新型模塊電源,采用國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的開放式1/4磚結(jié)構(gòu),最大輸出電流達(dá)25A,輸入電壓范圍寬,效率高,具有遙控、遠(yuǎn)端取樣、輸出電壓精確可調(diào)、輸出過壓保護(hù)、過流保護(hù)和過溫保護(hù)等多種功能,適用于分布式供電系統(tǒng)、無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)、光網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備和企業(yè)網(wǎng),可為最新一代的IC和微處理器提供電源.
   Quarter-brick QH series are designed for the applications in telecommunication field, they adopt international standard quarter-brick open frame, can deliver up to 25A of output current, operate over a wide range of input voltage and achieve very high efficiency, with remote On/Off, remote sense, output voltage adjustment, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection.      i過流保護(hù)(Over-current Protection)
    模塊具有限流保護(hù)功能,在輸出過載或短路時(shí)會(huì)進(jìn)入“打嗝式”保護(hù)狀態(tài).一旦輸出電流恢復(fù)正常,模
塊可自動(dòng)恢復(fù)正常工作狀態(tài).
    The power modules have current limit protection to protect the module during output overload
and short circuit conditions.During overload conditions, the power modules may protect themselves
by entering a hiccup current limit mode. The modules will operate normally once the output current
returns to the specified operating range.
  i輸出過壓保護(hù) (Output Over-voltage Protection)
    模塊具有獨(dú)立的過壓保護(hù)電路.當(dāng)模塊出現(xiàn)過壓,過壓保護(hù)電路檢測(cè)到輸出電壓達(dá)到過壓保護(hù)點(diǎn)時(shí),
模塊進(jìn)入“打嗝式”過壓保護(hù)狀態(tài).當(dāng)故障排除,模塊恢復(fù)正常工作狀態(tài).
    The power modules have a control circuit, independent of the primary control loop. If there
is a fault in the primary regulation loop, the over voltage protection circuitry will cause the
power module to enter a hiccup over-voltage mode once it detects that the output voltage has reached
the over-voltage level. When the condition causing the over-voltage is corrected, the module will
operate normally.
  i熱保護(hù) (Thermal Protection)
    如果模塊運(yùn)行超過最大工作溫度,模塊將關(guān)斷,使其不至于熱損壞.當(dāng)溫度降到過溫保護(hù)閾值之下,
模塊自動(dòng)重啟.
    When the power modules exceed the maximum operating temperature, the modules may turn-off to
safe-guard the power unit against thermal damage. The module will auto restart as the unit is cooled
below the over temperature threshold.
  i遙控開關(guān)機(jī)(Remote on/off)
    模塊為負(fù)邏輯遙控開關(guān)機(jī).當(dāng)On/Off與Vin(-)相連時(shí),模塊開通;當(dāng)On/Off開路時(shí),模塊關(guān)斷.使
用時(shí)用戶應(yīng)在On/Off和Vin(-)之間提供開關(guān)以控制兩腳間的電壓.On/Off腳可產(chǎn)生的最高電壓為15V,最
大允許漏電流為50μA.用戶使用的開關(guān)必須能夠維持一個(gè)<1.2V的低電平信號(hào),且最大維持電流為1mA.
如果不使用此功能,應(yīng)將On/Off與Vin(-)短接.


    The on/off logic is negative logic. The power module will turn on if terminal On/Off is connected
to terminal Vin(-) and it will be off if terminal On/Off is left open. The user must supply a switch
between terminal On/Off and Vin(-) to control the voltage between them. The maximum voltage

generated by the power module at the On/Off terminal is 15V. The maximum allowable leakage current
of the switch is 50μA.If the negative logic feature is not being used, terminal On/Off should
be shorted to terminal Vin(-).
  i輸出電壓調(diào)節(jié)(Output Voltage Adjustment)
    通過外接電阻與模塊Trim和Sense+(或Sense-)腳相連,可調(diào)節(jié)模塊輸出電壓.如果不使用此功能,Trim
腳應(yīng)開路.為了避免將噪聲引入Trim腳,可以在Trim與Sense-之間加一0.01μF電容.
    在Trim和Sense-腳間外加電阻,可下調(diào)輸出電壓,但模塊的限流點(diǎn)并不會(huì)因此提高,所以此時(shí)模塊的
最大輸出功率降低.
    在Trim和Sense+腳間外加電阻,可上調(diào)輸出電壓.但模塊的最大輸出功率是一定的,輸出電壓提高,
將使得輸出電流降低,以保證最大額定輸出功率.如果輸出電壓調(diào)得太高,將觸發(fā)輸出過壓保護(hù)電路.
    The output voltage of the power module may be adjusted by using an external resistor connected
between the Trim terminal and either the Sense(+) or Sense(-) terminal. If the output voltage
adjustment feature is not used, Trim terminal should be left open. Care should be taken to avoid
injecting noise into the power module’s trim pin. A 0.01μF capacitor between the power module’s
Trim pin and Sense(-) pin may help avoid this.
    With a resistor between the Trim and Sense(-) terminals, the output voltage is adjusted down.
The current limit set point does not increase as the module is trimmed down, so the available output
power is reduced.
    With a resistor between the Trim and Sense(+) terminals, the output voltage is adjusted up.
The maximum power available from the power module is fixed,as the output voltage is trimmed up,
the maximum output current must be decreased to maintain the maximum rated power of the module.
Trimming the output voltage too high may cause the output over voltage protection circuit to be
triggered.
   i遠(yuǎn)端取樣(Remote Sense)
    遠(yuǎn)端取樣功能是為了補(bǔ)償輸出線路壓降,當(dāng)不使用此功能時(shí),應(yīng)將Sense+與Vo(+)短接,Sense-與Vo(-)
短接.當(dāng)使用遠(yuǎn)端取樣功能時(shí),Vo(+)與Vo(-)端的輸出電壓會(huì)升高,為了保證最大額定輸出功率,輸出電
流將隨之下降.


    The power modules feature remote sense to compensate for the effect of output distribution
drops.If the function is not being used, the Sense(+) terminal should be connected to the Vo(+)
terminal and the Sense(-) terminal should be connected to the Vo(-) terminal.As the output voltage
increases due to the use of the remote sense, the maximum output current must be decreased for
the power module to remain below its maximum power rating.
    i輸入阻抗(Input Impedance)
    給模塊供電的電源阻抗會(huì)干擾模塊,為了減小干擾,當(dāng)電源電感大于2μH時(shí),應(yīng)在模塊輸入端加22—
100μF的電解電容.
    The source impedance of the power feeding the DC/DC converter module will interact with the
DC/DC converter. To minimize the interaction, a 22—100μF input electrolytic capacitor should
be present if the source inductance is greater than 2μH.
    i散熱(Heat Dissipation)
    模塊半載以上使用時(shí)必須使用風(fēng)扇散熱,半載以下為了提高模塊的可靠性也可以使用風(fēng)扇.如圖所示的
風(fēng)向可以達(dá)到最佳的散熱效果.
    When the power modules operate with a load greater than half rated load, a fan must be used
to transfer heat.When the power modules operate with a load smaller than half rated load, using
a fan can increase the reliability of the power modules. Airflow as this picture shows can achieve
the best heat dissipation.  

  i可靠性(Reliability)
本模塊經(jīng)過嚴(yán)格的設(shè)計(jì),如元器件降額使用、產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)反復(fù)論證等,通過嚴(yán)格的老化和測(cè)試可以篩選出
早期失效的模塊.使用Telcordia TR-332計(jì)算方法計(jì)算出MTBF值大于3×106小時(shí).不恰當(dāng)?shù)牟僮骰蚯?
潔過程會(huì)影響模塊的外觀、易測(cè)性和可靠性.
  The power modules are designed using stringent design guidelines for component derating,
product qualification, and design reviews. Early failures are screened out by both burn-in and
final test. The MTBF is calculated to be greater than 3M hours using the Telcordia TR-332
calculation method. Improper handling or cleaning processes can adversely affect the appearance,
testability, and reliability of the power modules.

八、DC-DC的應(yīng)用與設(shè)計(jì)(Application and Design of DC-DC Converter)

DC—DC需要合理的使用,下面的應(yīng)用資料有助于應(yīng)用工程師設(shè)計(jì)出更優(yōu)秀的供電系統(tǒng).
DC-DC should be used properly, these application data will help engineers to design better power supply network.
8.1 輸入考慮 (Input Consideration)
8.1.1 輸入保護(hù)Input Protection
    可外加輸入保護(hù)電路,一般由保險(xiǎn)絲、反極性保護(hù)二極管、輸入電容、瞬態(tài)抑制二極管等組成,常用的輸入保護(hù)電路如圖1所示.用戶可根據(jù)實(shí)際情況組合選用.
在模塊輸入端的保險(xiǎn)絲提供安全保護(hù),一般保險(xiǎn)絲的規(guī)格可選取1.5~2倍的額定輸入電流,如果模塊工作在一個(gè)相當(dāng)寬的電壓范圍,保險(xiǎn)絲應(yīng)該選擇2倍的最大輸入電流.
輸入的濾波電容可吸收模塊輸入端的電壓尖峰并為模塊提供一定的維持電壓,一般在25~50W功率48V輸入的模塊,選擇幾十微法左右的電容較為合適.考慮到紋波的因素,盡量選用低ESR的電容.

   為了防止輸入電源瞬態(tài)高壓將電源模塊燒毀,可在輸入端接一瞬態(tài)抑制二極管,放在濾波電容之前.此二極管還可起到反極性保護(hù)的作用.
   為了降低共模噪聲,可以增加Y電容,一般選擇幾納法高頻電容.但這種保護(hù)方法僅限于有case(接殼)引腳的模塊.
Users can add input protection circuit like Fig.1 as required. In common, the fuse should be 1.5 to 2 times of module rated input current, and the input capacitor filter should be low ESR. To protect the module from instantaneous high input voltage, users can also use a TVS before the input capacitor filter. The Y capacitors can reduce common mode noise, but they can only be used on modules with case pin.
  8.1.2 輸入范圍Range of Input Voltage
   輸入欠壓不會(huì)損害模塊,只會(huì)造成模塊工作異常,但輸入過壓應(yīng)有限制.一般情況下,輸入電壓為9~18V范圍的產(chǎn)品,輸入電壓不得超過25V;輸入電壓為18~
